MY STORY

Peace and Blessings! I’m Khaula, a Lausanne based family and food photographer. 

Photography has been my hidden passion for longer than I can remember. Born to migrant parents from Kenya and spending a childhood across three continents, photographs became the medium for connecting time and spatial distance. The ability to freeze moments and visualise memories has fuelled my passion for documenting feelings and stories through the lens.

My love for travel, history and people is evidently a product of my upbringing. An adventurer at heart, I enjoy new and challenging experiences, with the aim to learn and appreciate the world we live in. Amongst my portfolios, you will come across some of my travels – documenting the people, places and cultures I’ve encountered.
